Project photos (project start)

  • Purpose: Photos you upload when starting a project are used solely to assess your renovation project (indicative price) and for the technical review by our team.
  • Review: The photos are reviewed by people. No automatic image recognition or analysis takes place.
  • Preparation in the browser: Before transmission, images are downscaled on your device and re-saved as JPEG; embedded metadata (e.g. capture location, device details) is removed in the process. People or licence plates are not blurred automatically – please do not photograph uninvolved people or sensitive documents.
  • Transmission and storage: Transmission only happens when you submit your request, over an encrypted connection. The photos are stored together with your request in our database and passed on to specialist companies only as far as necessary for review or preparing an offer.
  • Deletion: You can request the deletion of your photos and request at any time. Retention follows the processing of your request and statutory retention obligations.
